Another Unexpected Elimination (for me anyways)
Cool beginning. I really liked Harry Connick Jr. as a mentor last night. They make the group song about a girl, bring in Crystal, the only girl left, but she is kinda dressed as a guy. Interesting... As I said, I predict that Casey will leave. Sad, but he probably deserves it most based on last night. I can’t believe it is already the top 5. Funny group video. It’s nice that families get to stay together in the hotels, as shown by the behind the scenes video. I love those videos. I think this is the most “real” group of contestants ever because they are all so average, which isn’t a bad thing. I don’t really like Lady Gaga. Her voice is actually good, but I can’t stand her elaborate performances and outfits. Crystal has an insulin pump?? So do I!! That Harry Connick Jr. segment was so funny!! I love him!! I don’t know what his voice sounds like. He is the best mentor because he really cares, you can tell!! Lots of contestant performances tonight. They sound good on Harry’s songs. Again, he cared so much about the contestants that he cut his performance time in half and had the contestants join him. Good story Harry told about when he met Sinatra, haha!! Mike bugs me with that 2 hand wave he does. Ugh, Lee knew that Ryan was gonna ask him to choose, or he almost asked him that. It was funny because Lee just like shook his head and knew it was coming. Woah!! I thought for absolute sure it was Casey tonight and he’s not even in the bottom 2. I don’t know who it will be, hopefully Aaron... Yeah!!! Finally. He lasted a really long time. I’m sorry, he looks sad. I actually thought he sounded good last night. Well, I’m happy because Lee and Casey are safe. Well, more so that Aaron is out. I really thought Casey deserved to go this week, but now I don’t need to rush my Friday plans to watch Casey on “If I Can Dream.” (I was watching Aaron on “If I Can Dream” as I typed this up and he seemed like a very cute genuinely nice person. On American Idol, you can never see there personalities. It’s not really fair to the contestants that America can’t learn more about them each week.)
